Review on Carhartt Legacy Tool Roll Black by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nearly perfect. but probably still the best. if you don't have over $200

Nest pocket can be used - that's really all I could have asked for in this item. I want the end pocket to be just a big open pocket that you can put deep sockets in on the rail. I could mount them there from the rail, but I don't want to. The pockets fit a 16ft Komelon tape measure in a pocket and barely snags the last bit of Velcro to stay closed. I put everything in my photos into this thing very easily and it all curled up leaving another 1.5 to 2 inches. two straps that fasten this thing after twisting. That's 7 wrenches, a 1/2" ratchet, a full set of metric sockets (shallow and deep - although deep sockets won't fit in every pocket). Channel lock pliers, emergency pliers, dams, 3/8" ratchet, multifunction screwdriver, fastener removal tool. And on the end of the pockets I have superglue, Loctite, and a couple of head adapters ranging from large to small. They both had the same problem: the key pockets were not wide enough to work This Carhartt doesn't have that problem at all (as shown in my photos) Unfortunately the only thing that seems better seems to be the $200+ Atlas Yorktown Mechanics reel (more than a standard roll) and I don't want to waste that money on a canvas roll. So Carhartt gets my money and I'm keeping this! But I wish it had handled the socket guides a little better. I will say, however, that a bag does end up. large bag easily accommodates flat sockets on the rail I carried the 15/16 head in my pocket on the rail with no problem it's just that it i There is only one such pocket in this roll and neither pocket can accommodate a set of deep indentations.
