Review on πŸͺ‘ Big Joe Imperial Lounger: Ottoman in Gray Union - Ultimate Comfort and Style! by Trisha Griffin

Could be softer.

So I chose it over a regular old beanbag because I needed something that would hold its shape a bit with the back and arms. I also didn't want anything covered in faux fur or leather like many bean bags, as it wouldn't stand up to my pets as they inevitably jump and climb over it. So this chair serves its purpose. but it's actually a lot sturdier than I would expect from something that competes with beanbags. You don't address it at all. The fabric it's covered in is a canvas fabric which makes it quite durable, but it's polyester or something synthetic which actually makes it a bit scratchy. It holds up well for a cat and a small terrier who take turns sleeping on it when I'm not sitting in it. Easy enough to comb and/or vacuum pet hair. However, the seams where the arms meet part of the seat are stretched significantly as they are pulled when a human body weight sits on the thing. It hasn't ripped yet, but I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before holes start to form at those seams. I'm smart enough to change it if that happens. But overall, if I could test this chair out in a store somewhere to get a feel for the fabric's lack of softness and strength, I'd probably look elsewhere.
