Review on 🐢 High-Quality Annamaet Grain-Free Salcha Poulet Dry Dog Food - Chicken & Duck Formula by Divya Flood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price is better than the sustain. Same great ingredients. Grain free, high protein.

I used the Sustain formula and my Great Pyrenees loved it. I wanted to try a different formula as both of my have such sensitive skin issues. I worked with the vet and they thought it was a food allergy, especially since they were littermates and both had the same problem. Straight out of the bag my big boy and girl loved the smell. They were ready to snatch the bag from my hands and devour it. I didn't really have to make the feed mix to get her used to the new feed. I ended up blending it in case they had stomach issues, but there were no issues with bowel movements or stomach issues. Cybil and Roderick thought it was excellent. Can't say anything about the taste as I haven't tried it yet haha. It is a solid formula and free from major allergens. There is no soy, corn or wheat in this formula. It contains legumes, but my omnivore team thought it was great. Its high protein content of 30% is great. It's not as high as Sustain (33%), but 30% is good enough for a sensitive stomach. It also has real ingredients that I can understand. First ingredients: chicken meal, lentils, duck meal, peas, chicken fat, tapioca, salmon meal and flax. There are other ingredients on the list, but the first ingredients are real meat products, which I always enjoy seeing. Wool on my two still looks great and I haven't seen much digging. I'll let you know if they start itching or peeling again, but the delicate formula and high protein seemed to do the real trick for us.
