I would like to start by not needing a very hard roller. When I went to massage therapy school, I wanted a prop for my practice, not regular bed pillows. It was a good size (a bit short but suited my needs) and a good price. After using it a few times I can say the support is a bit lacking, but that's just MY experience. To be honest, I'm a fairly heavily built guy and my classmates told me that my legs are "very heavy" so they tend to compress the pad to about half the thickness below my knees when I sit on it. my back but still enough support for me no matter what. As an ankle roll, it doesn't compress as much when face down, but obviously my feet weigh less than my hips and calves. Overall this is definitely a good reel for the price although it may not hold up well. for regular professional use. For the less frequent user or the professional who is more focused on therapeutic massage/sports massage and will not have clients at their desk for more than 1 hour, this is a great option.
