Review on 🌸 Febreze Plug-In Air Freshener & Odor Eliminator: Gain Original Scent Refill and Oil Warmer - 1 Count by Michael Caldwell

I think I'm just unlucky.

Item arrived sealed and appeared intact. All the parts of the package were there, including the instructions and the anti-theft gizmo (sorry I don't know how to properly name that little thin transparent piece with lines on it that interacts with the theft sensors in the store). Everything was fine until I opened the package. I removed the caps from the oil fill and gave it a quick sniff and it pretty much matched the smell on the sticker, except of course the stronger one because it's real oil and hasn't been plugged in yet. That's when I noticed that the two glass oil chambers weren't fused together and I could easily move either side with little or no pressure to either side. They're also connected to thin plastic at the top that doesn't feel solid. I've bought other Frebreze Plug and Refill Kits from physical retailers in the past and I'm not sure if they were older, newer, or a different model entirely, but they were all one piece and appear to be a better quality one. .On closer inspection I saw hairline scratches on the surface of the glass, four in all, each about 1.5 inches long. I've attached 2 photos of the scratches but I'm having trouble getting the right angle so you can see them fully. like me. If you look directly over my index finger in the photo where my fingers are behind the glass, you will see a faint white line, while on the other side it's a horizontal line going through the foam tube in the middle of the right half with the goes blue cap. As the title of my review suggests, I guess I'm just unlucky that mine was like that. Despite the scratches, it's overall poorly designed and not of good quality, and I'm sorry to say that I just don't feel comfortable enough to even turn it on and try it out. Tractor. To be honest, I'm afraid the flimsy plastic will melt and the unit will either catch fire or just fall apart, which could result in broken glass and oil on my floor or a heater failure. It just doesn't seem safe. Like I said, these are just my own thoughts and concerns about it. It might work, but I personally don't want to risk it. Uh, it was less than $5 before tax, so I'll just toss it and mark it as one of those live experiences.
