Review on 🕯️ Calarie Candle Wick Trimming Tool & Candle Accessory by Michelle Collins

Very nice and nice weight no angle trimmer for jar candles

I only bought this because I wanted a wick spoon and I liked the rose gold color and I thought it would be nice to match have set. I have not tried Candle Snuffer so I have no opinion on this product. Wick Dipper is perfect for my purposes. I used it to push unmelted wax around the rims of the jars to allow it to melt and evenly pile the candle as it burned. I haven't tried actually submerging the wick for fear the wick will break. The Wick Dipper gets an A+ on its own because it does what I need it to, it feels and weighs good, it has a nice little design engraved all around to dress it up and it's easy to clean . simply wipe away with a tissue, paper towel or cloth. I tried the wick trimmer on a few jar candles and it didn't work! The tilt angle doesn't allow her to reach the wick, if it's a small candle in the jar she just can't! Even if he could reach the wick in the little candle in the jar, he wouldn't cut it straight because it would be at a weird angle! On a brand new 3-wick candle, it barely cuts the wick. It will take a few tries because he keeps slipping off the wick and eventually cuts it. It worked slightly better when trimming burnt wicks in a large three wick candle, but if I can't use it for all my candles it's not worth keeping. Also, there can be problems when lowering 3 wick candles into the jar, the trimmer is not tilted at the right angle to reach them very well. I will be returning this set and sticking with my trusty old wick trimmer. My old trimmer is a simple straight tool with just a 90 degree bend on the trimmer end so it can go straight into anything and cut with ease! I will be ordering the Wickman Wick Dipper separately, I just won't have a nice set to match.

Pros
  • looking forward to
Cons
  • almost everything is there
