I've been using this for a few months now and it's literally rubbish. I don't understand how some people make them work properly. I have several Z-Wave sensors that never fail, but it gives me a constant headache. I've started this on my barn door but have always had inconsistent results. Then I got serious and installed it with screws and washers to make it even work properly and give it the tightest gap and flush I could get. Even then it never worked well. All of a sudden it's just open for no reason and closes again a few hours later. I linked it to Alexa and almost every morning between 4am and 8am I get a notification that it's open. Pretty sure the homeless aren't in and out lol. Very annoying.
