I bought this camera about a year ago and now I don't even know where my 35mm camera is. It takes amazing pictures (you see the result immediately) and if you are not happy with the result, just delete it and take a new shot! This camera is lightweight and fits easily in a pocket or fanny pack. It consumes a lot of battery power, so get rechargeable batteries when you buy it. I have an old HP Deskjet color printer and the photos I print are good enough to fit in my 5x7 inch albums, the 8x11 inch prints are a bit grainy but I don't use those High resolution setting on the camera. The instruction manual is easy to navigate and follow, I take it with me on vacation to learn how to take panoramic photos (they print beautifully!) or how to set up red-eye reduction. A word of caution: Always use the wrist strap when handling the camera. I once dropped my camera while on vacation, the photos taken afterwards were too dark to see. I sent the camera back to Olympus for service and they were great! I received my camera back within 3 weeks and was able to follow the progress of the repair online on the Olympus website. If I ever need a new digital camera it will definitely be Olympus!
