I used it to download (and play) Xbox games, almost all of which took up 128GB. C: drive was filled with the operating system and some programs that are still stealing space from me. You need to change "download future software" to D:{Jump Disk Name} if you want it to work. So I don't know how other people use these jumpdrives, but this is how they met my need.
