Review on Lucid by Mike Rubenstein

The fact that it's fast, scalable (and has been for years), highly available & fault tolerant is great! I've worked with other NoSQL stores but none of them have all those features at once like this one does - so far :). Nothing to dislike really about anything in particular yet :) Would be nice if they had more documentation as well regarding best practices/tips when setting up etc., not just "do these steps". But otherwise there isn't much else i can complain or say needs improvement upon from my perspective either ;) Highly recommended product!! We are using MySQL RDS instances which were slow compared against our own instance running Solr instead because we used some custom indexes while searching documents via solidsoup search engine library back then ;p It was always very laggy even though everything seems fine now after switching over fully into lucene-based indexing system by installing lucid server onto AWS EC2s along side mysqlR.
