Ordered this for a party and used it for my guests to take selfies against the backdrop we used. Here are my general thoughts. This light will change the quality of pictures, YouTube videos, ticking videos or make face syncing much easier. I've also used it for extra lighting while applying makeup and to illuminate dark areas in my home like the gym or bedroom. I haven't tried the remote controls because my Apple Watch has camera controls, but this option is available. Benefits1. Easy to install and disassemble, it didn't take long, maybe 2 minutes.2. Portability is great, it comes in a bag that fits everything and has handles for easy carrying3. No extra detail is required to change the lighting mode which is great for me as I hate a lot of detail and end up losing it (some lights have extra detail to change color from white to orange and I didn't want to this life).4. OMG, the brightness of this light is life changing. Easy dimming, multiple lighting and brightness options.5. The height is adjustable, I mean very, very adjustable! It can go from short to huge in a matter of seconds. As well as up to the ceiling (well, not quite, but you get the idea).6. Durable - the product is strong and will not fall off, the quality of the material is excellent. Cons 1. Cell phone holder adapter... Although my iPhone 10 xs fits, it doesn't fit well in the case. Every time I try to put it on the holder it becomes a real fight that I end up losing. So I have to take the phone out of the case and while it sounds like an easy task, my case is very difficult to detach. So, another wrestling match. (Note my phone case is thicker on the sides and this might be an issue, I'm currently looking for a thinner case to see if that helps)2. The phone holder adapter will not stay in place! It comes easy and I can't make it stay. While it may be user error I can't figure out how to get it to stay there without worrying about my bare phone and the possibility of it falling gives me a panic attack. I definitely recommend buying this product. Good quality, fast delivery and easy to use.
