I bought these after bad experience with the competitor license plate version of these lights. Upon arrival I tried to install them but as a previous reviewer pointed out they don't work in my 2018 Ford F-150. What the previous reviewer didn't point out is that the reason they didn't work was because the pin header on the LED boards wasn't manufactured correctly. As you can see in the picture, the standard 168 bulb has a pin on the right side when viewed from above. The aftermarket connector has a contact on the left side, making it impossible to contact the factory wiring at the time of manufacture. Bending and shortening the pins from the center to the opposite side makes the light work, but it's a dubious solution at best.
