Even using the memory manufacturer's definition of a GB as 1 billion bytes (as opposed to the definition used by computers and the rest of the computing world, which is 2^30 or 1,073,741,824 bytes), this falls far short of that stated capacity back. Actual capacity is 15.58GB or 14.51GB depending on how you define GB. These are raw sizes and do not account for file system overhead, further reducing usable capacity.
