I have two more models of these fans. This one is a little different. Due to frequent power outages in our area some years, fans are a MUST in the summer heat. Also, they're great for going to bed with me. WHAT IS IT FOR? CUSTOMIZE This is a folding fan. You simply open the top, slide it out to the desired height, tighten, and then turn it on. BUTTONS There is a power button and then a mode button. You can have low, medium and high and I don't quite understand the fourth setting. It's a natural wind that I don't feel. COOLING? This fan is the best I've ever had. My bedroom gets hot at night and no fans help me cool down. However, this fan is like a small air conditioner. I'm not joking. I put it on the bed next to me, next to my head. I set it up facing me and it really felt like cool air. I don't know how it works, but it works. CHARGING The charging process takes several hours. I usually plug it in in the morning and it's ready to go in the evening. I change fans as I have more than one. HIGH? It's great to use at its fullest. I can put it next to me in the living room or on the table or in my shed where there is no electricity. It is also excellent for camping. It's not very stable at the highest altitude on Earth, but it works well on the ground. HOW LONG? I run it on low speed at night and it lasts all night before needing to charge. I might not last all night on medium. CONCLUSION This fan is fantastic. In summer it's like a small air conditioner. When camping or other unpowered applications, this is a lifesaver on hot, muggy days. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I love this fan and wouldn't want to be without it if I can help it. This is the best fan I have ever used.
