Getting Rid of the Dirt - Exterior Care

Received this and immediately went to wash two cars. It wasn't a disappointment but left a lot to be desired. I started with my old truck that hadn't been washed this year. I used a foam gun and Turtle Wax Max Power to break up the dirt and grime. I then rinsed it out with McKee's before hand washing. The dirt washed away with ease. It cannot be said that the truck was in bad shape for so long. However, it does not appear to have left any protection. The water may have covered a little quicker but they weren't flooded and were badly flooded. The second car was my commuter car which comes with paint sealer and gets washed about 3 times a month. During the drying phase it is additionally coated with Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Wax. I started with 3 ounces in a foam gun. Mixed about 9 to 1. Foam easily cuts through dirt buildup from dirt road riding. Hand washing was quick and easy. It didn't take off the main protection and it definitely looked better than a no-touch car wash. There was no more haze and the color of the car changed. This is a great maintenance washer. This will definitely clean the car without removing the wax. However, it doesn't seem to add any silica protection at all. If you're looking for a maintenance flush that boosts your defenses, this might not be the right choice. However, if you want a very gentle wash that will work well on a daily rider with protection, this could be a good choice.
