If you buy a beard, get a wireless one, but that's fine

I have quite a long and thick beard (think Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones) but I've never felt the need to have it to smooth my beard. Decided to take a dip in the water after seeing such highly rated $17 models. I wasn't sure if they really did much and didn't want to charge a higher price. I asked if there was a noticeable difference between this model and the $100+ models and I said no. t seems to be. I figured even if the expensive model lasted longer I could buy six of these for the same price. And I wouldn't be attached to many changes if I wasn't thrilled with the results. So, picked it up and let's go. I usually give my beard a thorough grooming routine with a beard wash, beard oil, and beard balm from Permafrost Beards in Fairbanks, Alaska, and a good quality, wide-toothed Kent-comb with a soft-bristle brush. But my favorite barbershop was closed for a beard trim due to the pandemic, so it's not as trim and pretty as I like. Long story short, the results from the rectifier weren't that impressive. Yes, it "smoothes" my beard, but that doesn't mean it suddenly looks very groomed. It's a small upgrade worth $17 and a few minutes of my time. If I dated/cared more, I would be more into it, but that's not the case. If I had to do it again I would go with the cordless model, the cord is annoying and limited where I can mount it during warm up and use. If I take it and do it every day I may upgrade in the future but until then this model is fine. I don't think the $100 model will do much better, but who knows?
