lots of bad reviews about it being dangerous. Let's face it, the blame here is 50/50.1. Pet owners may not leave their dog unattended in a crate unless he is crate trained. If your pet dies while trying to escape from the crate, it's your fault.2. The locks can come loose if an angry dog tries to get out. There is a solution, and it's cheap. After adding this to your cart, click on the search bar and type in "Ranger Groups". Then buy them. You will use them to keep the drawer locked. (see photo in my review) 3. This crate is not meant to hold that 3 year old stuff you just found on the back street. This is done to accustom a large strong dog to a cage or a puppy to a cage. But if your dog is big, strong, and not properly crated, you will destroy the crate and injure yourself in the process. The boxes are not to blame. It's your fault if that happens. Now for what I got (this is my 3rd). Two were perfect. The latter was damaged during transport. This made assembly a terrible pain. But after straightening the curves, it became normal. I'm sure I could contact the seller or Revain and send a new one, but I didn't care too much.
