Okay but there is no way to turn off the startup sound

I bought this so my kid would have a cheap tablet to use the educational apps. For that it works great. It's simple, there's a Google Play Store, and it has a true desktop-style screen, unlike the childish Fire (which is a terrible tablet). The only disappointment is that there is no way to turn off the startup sound. It is very loud and cannot be turned off. A very annoying mistake.
