Review on πŸ–‹οΈ BASTION Raw Copper Bolt Action Pen: A Premium Luxury Retractable Metal Pen with Gift Case for Effortless Style and Elegance by Brandon Reynolds

The most ridiculous way to spend $50 on a good pen.

2 month review. This pen is ridiculous, awesome, and I you shouldn't spend $50 on one, but I'd do it again myself. I bought the Copper version which is monstrously heavy and easily damaged, but I love it. I didn't like the ink sent with it so I changed it out and went on with my life. (parker style refills are pretty cheap) It came pretty patinaed so I hit it with Brasso for a good shine. It will fully re-patina in about a week. I polish it every other week. It is truly just a big chunk of copper. The fit and finish is incredible. Within the first week I knocked it off a table and the tip was damaged enough that the pen tip wouldn't come out. I had to get a drill bit and reopen the hole. that's copper for you. As other reviewers have said; The clip is on the wrong "side" if you're right handed. When you action the bolt the clip will be in the web between the thumb and forefinger, and it can hurt. Bad enough that I just removed the clip. (put back on just for the picture) It's twice the thickness of a normal pen and 3 times as heavy. About the same thickness as a Pilot Dr. Grip pen you can get at walmart. Best suited for a desk and for light use. If you're writing all day this most likely isn't the pen for you. The size might be good for people with mobility or grip issues, though you might want to choose the stainless since it's lighter.
