Review on Voovix Minimalist Barefoot Cross Trainer: Lightweight and Comfortable Running Shoe by Brian Nicholas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

barefoot/minimalist shoes that don't look hackneyed.

I own several pairs of sandals/minimalist shoes and love the space, comfort and ease. But even the more "normal" ones look like they're from another future planet. It's okay while I'm exercising, but I don't necessarily want "Shiny by day - look at me" shoes just to go to the market. I'm glad I stumbled across them. They look almost like regular sneakers and are pretty close to barefoot/minimalist shoes. It has an insole with low arch support. Enough not to make it true naked/min. The insole is removable, but the stitching might bother someone. The heel area is also not as spacious as, for example, with a TSLA or Aleader. Shoes seem a little heavier than other models I have. The toe box is wide enough, but also not as roomy as the other models mentioned above. Flexibility is more than regular running shoes, but not as flexible as other models. Overall, I put up with the negatives so I can stretch my toes without looking like I'm constantly on my way to some tough dirt competition. Points!

Pros
  • Great shoes! my dearest
Cons
  • The slip-on design may not be reliable enough
