An Honest Review of the Blue Tiger Elite Trucker Headset

I've been a trucker for 7 years, I used to have other headphones. the Blue Parrot B250-XT in particular for my first 5. They were reliable, just starting to wear out and uncomfortable to wear (due to the head wire and side piece pressing against the head). So I went with these blue tigers for the following reasons: they looked comfortable, they could fast forward or rewind songs, they required significant noise reduction, long talk time, battery life, and distance. Okay, here's my take on each of them. They are very comfortable, ears don't sweat and head doesn't get tired, talk time and battery life are great, distance to phone (from cockpit up to 53ft) was about 40ft for the first 6 months and then went up back about 30 feet for the rest of the year. If you can see my photo, I wrapped black tape around the headphone slider to keep the headband upright without the headband folding inward, making it difficult to pull over your head. Notice the silver button on the microphone arm that toggles other functions on and off. If your headset is off and this button is accidentally pressed, it will call the last person you spoke to by dialing your number. I called support to disable this feature but they said it was not possible. Two days ago it stopped charging and won't turn on. Blue Tiger is willing to sell me a new one for $75 or $45 to use. Not bad. I think I paid $115. So I wasn't happy with the blue tiger's performance, I just ordered a Blue Parrot B450-XT.
