Bought for our 20 month old for Christmas. It's about 1-2 inches taller but should be perfect by spring. Wearing thick sneakers, she can grip with her toes, but not with her flat feet. I have to hold on to the bike and push her onto it. So far we've only used it at home and enjoyed learning to steer. Took another reviewer's advice and removed the logo stickers. It took a bit of Googon and elbow grease to remove what was left of the sticker, but the stickers themselves peeled off immediately. Tires must be fully inflated before driving. So plan ahead if you don't have a bike pump!
