I finally got this wonderful accordion style plastic whistle for my two guinea pig boys. I bought cardboard tubes for them (shorter) and they liked them, but they didn't clean well, basically my guineas could use them for 1 week, after that I had to throw them away. Too expensive to keep going. So I thought I'd try this out. I have a large male guinea pig and a small baby guinea pig who love this tube. I circle it around their large playground they live in and I can hear them play it through, to me it's the sound of my two boys having fun! They chase each other, they pass each other in the tube, they lie in it, they like being fed lettuce at the end of the tube so they can hang around in the tube and eat from their converted plastic plates. I put on a very large pillowcase, cut the center off and thread it through the tube so I don't have to remove the poop anymore. They try to keep it clean with a rag on the floor, and they don't pee in it either, so they enjoy it so much they want it to continue. They have this tunnel in their yard, a piglo which is a cone shaped wigwam with a round hole they can hide and chew in and a pineapple and a "puppy tent" that I throw over their big fence and they use to hang out at the Side hanging a big 'soft 'throw' each of them curl up in to sleep. They are having the funnest time I've ever seen where two boys are together and not fighting. This whistle purchase was just the thing to complete their large playground where they live every day. I smile when I hear the sound of the tunnel being used day and night.
