Okay first of all they do not send a wooden mallet with these. It is a tiny plastic one like the one my son had as a kid. He laughed when he saw it. The shelves take a bit longer to put together than you are told in the videos. It took us the better part of 2 days to get them together. I did a set of four acrossed and five up which worked well until i realized some of the zip ties weren't put in and two shelves collapsed. Then it held together really well. Man if it weren't for the zip ties this thing would completely fall apart. The second unit I put together was a single row of cubes 4 high worked really well with the cubes that way. Basically once you get the hang of it , it goes together easier the gloves are too small and too thick to handle zip ties with. I was so scratched up it looked like I had gotten in a fight with an alley cat. Just not meant for two older women to put together , at least not an almost 60 yr old and a seventy year old.
