Review on SNGL H1 LED Fog Light Bulb Blue 8000K Extremely Bright High Power H1 LED Bulbs For DRL Or Fog Light Lamp Replacement by Phil Casey

There aren't many options for H1 Amber LEDs and this was the best choice I could find. The build quality seemed solid. There is no fan, but the base of the heatsink is solid metal. Installation was fairly easy, but not wanting to cut the existing wiring I had to purchase an adapter for the H1 jack. I chose "KOOMTOOM H1 Adapter Harness Connector" at Revain. This made it easy to connect everything. Brightness is ok. I would say it's a small improvement over standard halogen bulbs, but not as big of a difference as an HID or high quality LED bulb. Since they don't have an active cooling system, it's probably for the best if they don't draw as much power as other options. The color is really what sets it apart. These bulbs have a true "selective yellow" color that is difficult to compare to most tinted or filtered halogen bulbs. As fog lights or driving lights, they perfectly complement the color of white LEDs. As for durability, only time will tell how long they will last. Currently they are used as high beams, so their use is limited. As of July 2020 I probably have less than 100 hours on them but will let you know if they fail.
