has been damaged This is a really cool concept. They dry very quickly and don't seem to have that weird moldy smell like cotton does. I like that they dry almost completely for wiping countertops, leaving no water stains on my granite. Due to the porous nature of the material I would like to add that they are very easy to stain. Here's one with coffee stains after being washed in the washing machine. Updated Rating: Photo shows new, washed twice and washed once. In fact, after a single use, they look like absolute garbage. I suppose if you specifically just used them with water it would be fine. But for everything but water, it's 100% smooth. They've both been oxygen cleaned and still look like trash.
