Keeps the mattress dry
So far so good. Washed cold, do not bleach. Come out clean and smelling fresh. I suggest washing it immediately if you let it dry there will be stains and odor. I won't tumble dry it, I don't see how it won't dry out and crack the rubber, even on a low temperature. I hang to dry. Has survived several washes and still not seeping onto the mattress. Updated when or if a leak occurs. It doesn't make a plastic rustle, the terry cloth is nice, I would suggest putting a sheet over it, the baby might sweat. In general, he does his job, and mom is happy. I've since bought a second one as a backup, it's great too.
