I bought these readers because the description said they were prescription ready but I took them to my local Costco and Lenscrafters optics center and no location gave my prescription in them. If you need a range of readers I would recommend them! Red is one of the best shades of red I've seen on glasses; This is a cool shade of red, so it's better for those who need to wear cooler colors. There are typewritten words on the inside of the arms which also adds to the cute feel. They also appeared to be fairly durable and functional. The shape is also similar to the Buddy Holly look that is so popular at the moment, but appears more delicate and feminine because they are not very big. Too bad I had to send them back!
