Review on Natures Diet Simply Freeze Dried Whole by Jennifer Katz

I grew up eating raw milk and organic Alta Dena products. My mother was way ahead of her time in the 70's and 80's. This dog food reminds me of what I ate as a kid: just good, natural, whole foods. I've recently switched my pack of 3's diet to raw food (raw chicken, turkey and whatever I can afford for 3 large dogs). I use this as a topping for some of their organic dry lamb cuts and now they eat bananas and one of the ridgebacks is now literally asking me for his food and banging on the pantry door when it's time to eat. I haven't had shiny stainless steel bowls in a long time, and now the three of them are running around each other's bowls, looking for trash that has fallen on the floor. This food smells great, and if you don't like the smell, you don't understand what healthy food should smell like. I can make it thicker, which my dogs love to lap up with broth, or thicker by just feeding them this food. I recommend, as another said, using warm water to reconstitute and letting it sit for at least 10 minutes, but 20 minutes really thickens it up. I love the variety of ingredients as I would never have the patience or time to make this from scratch for 3 large dogs. It's all taken care of for you and the fare. All of the flavors and bone broths from this company are now in my regular monthly order. I'm so glad I found her.
