Model year NOT specified, comes in sealed bag but too small to replace the logo for my 2015 limited edition Kia Sorento SXL. The part is NOT interchangeable for the right size👎👎

I should have paid more attention to the details of this trim. In the description OEM says Optima but not 2012. The original has a raised metal KIA logo while it has a flat one. Those listed for the trunk emblem are closer. This fits perfectly and is exactly like the picture. Ratings are skewed as they do not apply to this emblem for Optimas. Just check your car before ordering.

Someone decided they needed the original emblem more than our (my wife's) Optima and stole it. Luckily they didn't damage the paint with the screwdriver (or knife) they used to amputate the original. If this happens to you, make sure you have removed all of the gray foam mass and clean the area well with rubbing alcohol before replacing this item. The cleaner the area, the better the grip. Although the dimensions may be the same, if you have an Optima you will probably want to spend $20 more and get the TRUE OEM emblem. Forte appears to be using what looks like the cheap flat plastic model that you get with this product [based on photos] so it might be similar but honestly the seller should update the listing to be clearer. The Optima (at least the SX) is a similar size BUT has a 3D badge that uses nicer, heavier materials. The emblem is not the same. It's plastic and a sticker…
