Someone decided they needed the original emblem more than our (my wife's) Optima and stole it. Luckily they didn't damage the paint with the screwdriver (or knife) they used to amputate the original. If this happens to you, make sure you have removed all of the gray foam mass and clean the area well with rubbing alcohol before replacing this item. The cleaner the area, the better the grip. It also has mounting tabs on the back that align with the badge's position on the hood to ensure it goes straight.
