After the original Fitbit band broke at the clip that connects it to the real device, it took me 9 months from the time I received it to get a new one. After looking at several other brands, I settled on this one because it had the fewest bad reviews. It fitted the Fitbit perfectly and was easy and secure to attach. The strip itself is slightly longer than the original. It's harder than the original. And because it's stiffer, it doesn't quite touch my wrists since I have SMALL wrists. In fact, I can stick my finger through it. BUT it doesn't move, doesn't disturb my sleep, and it didn't get caught either. It only took maybe 3 days and nights to get used to the stiffer and slightly different feel. The color isn't a true black, more of a flat or soft black than gray or charcoal as some reviews say. It's not distracting at all and doesn't particularly stand out. It just suits me. Already a month or two? I don't remember exactly. and it still holds tight to the clasps. If this one breaks, I'll buy the same one again.
