Use the nubs as directed for the best grip.
Cons: No template to mark holes in the wall. Instead I had to make my own using blue masking tape. Pros: Product exactly as described, no surprises. All parts for installation were in the package! Tip: When self-assembling, be sure to secure the stud positions in the wall and double-check with a spirit level before drilling. It's quite heavy on its own and I had to use masking tape to make sure I drilled the holes the right distance. After triple checking everything, installation was a breeze!
