I was so glad I took it with me on my trip to Europe. When I used the hood it was great to have the transparent part of the hood. I could see when it was raining heavily. This was an advantage over other people who wore ordinary poncho-type raincoats and had the rain pelt their faces. Wear it with a baseball cap for that extra power. I would recommend that you use the side latches. If you don't, you will get very wet in heavy rain. I didn't use them as I was trying to make it easier and faster for me to stretch my arms while taking photos. Between shots I kept the camera under my raincoat and it worked perfectly. My camera stayed dry. The cape is the perfect length for women. It repelled water very well and the water shrugged off quickly as soon as I was able to enter the building. Once inside and able to take it off, it wiped clean easily and dried quickly. The rain cover is made of good material and I liked the design, but I wish they had more design options. I would order it again if needed. Thanks for the great raincoat.
