My wife was looking for a car phone holder and didn't need a holder to attach to the dashboard or air vent. I was worried that she would have to look at her phone while driving, so I wanted to buy her the tallest car mount I could find. Here it is and she loved it! She assembled and installed it herself (Altima 2013) and it fitted perfectly. The only issue we both had was that due to the height (15 inches) the phone can shake while driving. After several test runs, she reported that the phone doesn't shake as much while driving as we thought (of course, bumpy roads are an exception, but still not that bad). The gooseneck is stiff enough to minimize fluctuations but flexible enough to adjust as needed. She loves it! Sure, it's a little more expensive than most other models, but they all have an overall height of 12 inches or less, so I could justify the extra expense of getting a 15-inch holder.
