I have several inexpensive multipurpose lenses of different brands. I like them because they're pretty quick, well made, and inexpensive. This one is particularly interesting because it's my first f/1.2 lens. It's really well done. I didn't buy it here because I got a better deal from a big seller in New York. On my E-M5.2 body, I need to adjust the focal length for IBIS to work properly. Focusing is pretty easy, especially at this focal length. The sharpness with an open aperture is not outstanding, but more than acceptable. Simply stopping down to f/1.4 increased the sharpness to excellent. It has some PFs that should be fixed in the post. I'm impressed with the optical performance, especially at this price point. I have never used lenses with an aperture ring on the front of the lens. Instead, I moved the focus ring several times. Worse still, it's a narrow ring; I have to look it up every time I want to adjust the aperture. I've also never used a lens with a screw cap. Although it's well made, I'm afraid I'll end up scratching the front element. I highly recommend this lens, not because it's perfect, but because it's great value for money. Even f/1.2 is perfect for a certain type of photography. It reminds me a bit of the Pentax 55mm f/1.8, but this lens is much sharper than the Pentax.
