. It was brighter than the original bulb for about 5 months (see review below). Remember I replaced the original because it faded over time but didn't burn through. These bulbs lasted much less than the original. Whiter (less yellow/more white) but certainly not 60% brighter than advertised. Rather 10-15% brighter with about the same range. FYI I am replacing the original bulbs which are 10 years old and have become weak as the car ages. This means that the original bulbs fitted by Honda when new were much brighter than the Phillips bulbs. I doubt these bulbs will have the same lifespan.
