Using the PDA 1100 and the diagonal is very convenient, so you don't have to constantly turn your neck. Overall, the device is ROBUST and is attached directly to the back of the scope. All you have to do is take off the 1.25 Visual Back and put it on. If you have a diagonal for your 2" lenses, I would also recommend buying a 2" adapter if you don't want to include the diagonal (mostly when it comes to photography). A very nice carry case that comes with it if you need to put it away. It adds a bit of weight to the scope, but the CPC 1100 can carry up to 15 pounds (not saying I would see that as a challenge, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems) I recommend and good build quality!
