Mirror with LED backlight not the brightest and fiddly to put batteries in

There are 18 bright white LEDs in the mirror. They run on four (rather than three as the product description says) AAA batteries (unfortunately (for this price they are NOT included). Even with fresh and fully charged batteries the light isn't very bright. I don't know , how to properly describe the comparison in terms of brightness, so I'm saying I've seen it brighter.(I have a much cheaper LED mirror that sticks pretty well to my bathroom mirror, which is the brightest at three AAAs .) It's a solid wing mirror with just enough weight at the base to keep it stable. I'm not overly impressed with the quality of the mirror. Removing the front of one side of the mirror to insert the batteries is a real hassle! It needs to be rotated and then removed you need very long fingers to grasp the outside edges of the mirror so you can use a pair of hands to remove your face I have very long fingers but ni cht long enough to capture that. So I worked on the table top, the edge where I could hang the base and put the mirror face on the rubber mat. A rubber mat held the mirror in place so I could flip it over with both hands and then take it off. (Be sure to read the instructions to figure out how to rotate it before you lift it.) The LED strip inside the mirror may be bright, but it's facing the mirror's fixed side. I think small lights need some kind of sloping reflective surface to get really good light. I will be putting this mirror in the guest bathroom but personally I will continue to use what I have been using for several years. : RUIMIO makeup mirror with light, 7x magnification and suction cup
