Review on Rubbermaid Easy Find Lid Square 1.5-Gallon Food Storage Container 2-Pack - 24 Cup Capacity, Clear/Red by Zachary Jackson

I bought these rubber containers to store items that needed protection from the air to keep them from drying out. Unfortunately they are not sealed! After sealing the lid and spitting out of the corner, I noticed that the center of the lid was bubbling, indicating air had got in. I checked this by pouring water into the tub and placing it upside down in the tub overnight. I turned the tub upside down in the morning and indeed significant drops of water seeped through the seal. I bought these Rubbermaid tubs to replace the ones I bought 12 years ago. The quality has decreased significantly over the years. I'd love to return them, but I don't want to tinker with them.
