This is perfect for my needs. The silicone is soft and pliable and the case fits my iPad 12.9 (2017) easily without being too loose. I have a protective glass and was able to put on a case without tearing off the protective glass. When it's on the iPad, the case wraps around the edges a bit so I don't risk peeling the screen protector, but I don't obscure the screen either. Turning on the iPad is easy, including using the fingerprint reader. , and use all buttons through silicone (on / off, volume). This does not work with Apple keyboards. So if this is your plan, this is not the case. When I travel I replace this tablet with one that comes with a case, but mostly I use an iPad. at home and that's all I need. I don't notice that much of a weight difference after adding the case, although of course it does add weight. I love how easy it is to hold, it protects my iPad, it's unobtrusive and it fits perfectly. Goodbye!
