I tried drying in the oven, which worked most of the time, but I wanted something more practical. I'm glad I spent the extra money on it. Got the right color and design. Automatic shutdown. And there is a place to store the cable. It comes with instructions/recipes so you know how to cook, what temperature to use and the like. It's definitely not quiet. Sounds like a fanboy to me, but that doesn't bother me at all. I'm excited to see how my fetus develops. I started with oranges. Some with skin, some without. I will update once they run out.
