This shoemaker really knows his stuff. I've wanted this pair for a long time. I finally received it. If you're in the military, these boots are proven and perfect. They also make excellent work boots. It says I must mention the finger. You have enough room to move. I have wide feet and they fit true to size. It's like a custom order. They also provide much needed arch support. I have very high arches and usually wear orthotics, but they are good. I wear them 12 hours a day, mostly standing up. My feet rarely hurt at the end of the day. These boots are very light and offer excellent traction on any surface. Garmont makes great shoes. This is my first pair in this style. I bought 6 pairs of shorter Gortex boots. I've exhausted them completely.
