My workout clothes say not to use fluffy sheets, but some shorts are just full of static electricity. After years of using Hex detergents, they have released these "wet" sheets that are safe for absorbent fabrics. I tried them. They work great. A faint clean smell for the unprotected, but I like it. Your detergent smell (clean and fresh?) was too strong for me. Try them, I wasn't disappointed. The only downside is you try to find the sheet by your clothes - it sticks to socks and other textured fabrics.
