This is a very nice, comfortable throw that works perfectly anywhere in the home. It can be placed in the living room, family room, a bedroom, a den, or any other appropriate room in your home. It is made of acrylic, so the cleaning directions say spot clean only. I don't think you can throw it in the washing machine like most blankets, and I am not personally sure that I would pay for dry cleaning this throw. This blanket does have a very nice dark navy and cream design, with textured fabric "bubbles" and the addition of fringe on both ends. Personally, I am happier with a throw blanket that I can machine wash and dry. Plus, the current price of just under $50 for a throw blanket seems like more than I would be willing to pay. Plus, at that cost, and not being able to machine wash it, I am kind of afraid to use it. Right now it is sitting in my linen closet. It is very unique, pretty, and extremely soft. However, I took it down one star due to the complexity of keeping it clean.
