Review on EVERSECU Wireless Detection Security Surveillance by Gary Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for money

The camera has worked great so far. I've been using it for about 3 months to check what my dogs are doing when I'm not home. Pan and tilt are good but can be a bit sensitive. The night vision is better than I expected. Motion detection is enabled for pretty much any cat size or larger. You can tweak the recording options and I'm amazed at how little space the recordings take up. If you set your camera to a lower resolution, your recordings will take up even less space. After more than three months of almost daily use, the HD card is only about 80% full. It will be automatically overwritten when the card is full. Missing setup instructions detected. I had to play with it for a few hours to make it work. Possibly because I'm using it with an old phone. It does not scan the software code after several attempts, nor does it accept manual input of installation information. He ended up getting a clear scan and everything was pretty easy from there. The power cord is quite short, only about 3 feet. Overall it's better than I expected for the price. Hopefully they keep the software compatible with a wide range of phones and make some improvements. I'm actually considering buying another one or two. I'll have to get longer cables for them, but that's fine. They offer 1 month free cloud service which I didn't use.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Negative impression
