After only a few wears, the mesh layer became so dirty that it had to be washed. In just one wash, they faded from bright coral to pale pink, and the dirt between the mesh layer and the bottom layer of the shoe turned into dirt and stains. These are expensive shoes, but they don't wash well for a child. Plan to wear them multiple times and don't expect them to be the same. I have had many other pairs of shoes that have washed well but not this one.
