This is a fantastic charger. Before I ordered it I had quite a few batteries that I used for everything. Our TV remotes, bed remote, my headlamp, some baby stuff, etc. I only had 2 4 slot chargers that plugged into an outlet (the ones that come with some battery packs) and these things literally lasted 24 hours. for charging batteries. Well I ended up buying 20 more AA batteries for my two game and trail cameras and those chargers just wouldn't do the trick so I ordered these. I remember when I first used it I put 8 batteries in it, made sure it charged and went. I got back in 45 minutes max and every battery was charged. I didn't believe it so I took them off and checked them with a multimeter and they showed charged. So I left them on the counter rather than the charger for an hour and went back to check the voltage again. It was still the same, so I was very happy. Another great feature of this charger is that you don't have to charge the batteries while it's paired with it. For example, my headlamp (which many of us have) runs on 3 AAA batteries. When it came time to charge them onto the old one I had to grab the 4th battery to toss it along with the other 3, otherwise I was only able to charge 2
