I was a bit concerned to find that the jacket was delivered in an envelope to the post box at the bottom of the driveway as I found it to be very thin. It's really thin, but the metal lining reflects your body heat and keeps you warm. I'm in the Midwest; since i had it, it hasn't been less than 20 degrees and i was warm in my jacket. Whether this is sufficient at lower temperatures, I can not judge at the moment. Where the sleeves end with the arms, there is an elastic band that hugs your skin snugly and comfortably. It's not like the cheap stuff that ends up piling up. The faux fur collar is very soft and attractive. It lies very flat and doesn't feel like the cheap shaggy fur that some jackets have. There are two pockets and one inner zip pocket, which is convenient when you simply go out with your ID, keys, etc. I really like this jacket and I'm glad I bought it.
