That is so cool. In spite of my best efforts, I was unable to glean sufficient information from the internet prior to making my purchase of this keyboard. For this reason, I made the purchase in part "blindly," but in the end I am quite happy with it. The fact that the backlight goes on when your hands are placed over the keyboard is still one of my favorite features of this device. The light will turn off after a count of four seconds. I was on the hunt for a scissor keyboard in particular because I find that this mechanism suits my needs perfectly.
